The driver of a 2020 McLaren 600 LT collided with a guardrail Monday night on a state Route 512 exit-ramp in Tacoma, according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Washington State Patrol.

I don't know what it is about people who own sports cars, but many seem to not know how to handle the power of them. I am guessing this is what happened to whoever owned this British sports car as well, they just didn't know how to handle the car and was probably drunk or uninsured, which is why this is a hit-and-run case.

State Police in Pierce County Washington posted to twitter on Jun 21, 2022 that showed a 2020 McLaren 600 LT pinned up under a guardrail.

The driver of this British Sports car crashed Monday night in Tacoma, Washington but when officers arrived on scene, the driver was not there. The McLaren had struck a guardrail on eastbound state Route 512.

Washington State Trooper Robert Reyer stated in a Twitter post that the crash happened on the exit-ramp to Portland Avenue.

We are unsure if there were any injuries because the driver had left the scene, they even forgot to close their wing-styled door before jetting off.

I will continue to work with officials to get more on this story such as the name of the driver, their reason for leaving the scene and if the car was stolen or not.
