2022 Veterans Day Parade

Gear Head attended the 2022 Veterans Day Parade in Ontario, Oregon on November 6. The parade is set a week before Veterans Day each year and is meant to Honor those in the Armed Forces.
Veterans Day is a day to Honor and to give thanks to those who are serving currently in the Armed Forces and to remember those who have served but paid the ultimate sacrifice for the very freedoms that many of us take for granted.
The images below highlight the Veterans Day Parade.
The parade highlights the men and women in our armed forces, the boy's scouts and our first responders.
The Parade featured some classic rides, everything from a classic Bell-Air to a classic Ford Falcon was spotted at this parade. The parade also highlighted some first responder vehicles from the Malheur County area, such as the Ontario Oregon Hazmat truck, Ontario Oregon Fire Tender truck, Oregon BLM truck, a Malheur County Sherriff's pick-up with a water rescue boat hauled behind it, a Treasure Valley Paramedic Ambulance and an Ontario Police Department pick-up truck are just to name a few, lol.
Veterans Day this year is November 11, 2022. Thank you for your service.
